FACE CACHEE is a film about a young girl named TANG, who leaves her village to visit her cousin KOHNDJIE, who, according to the news, lives in luxury in the city. She comes to see her cousin with the aim of living with her and becoming as wealthy as she is, since according to her, it's only when you're in town that your financial situation changes. As soon as she sets foot in her cousin's house, she's turned away like a beggar. But after squatting in front of the door for long hours, her cousin takes her back, giving her the conditions and certain rules for living with her, but TANG's stay turns out to be a worse nightmare for KOHNDJIE.
