Orphaned at birth, Salvador is brought up by his grandmother in the village. He succeeded in his studies and opened a business in town where he employed many young people and met Seraphine, an attractive young woman with whom he planned to start a family. But his grandmother in the village has prepared Lili, a woman from the village, whom she sends to the town to be her grandson's wife before she dies a few days later, leaving Salvador a recommendation in her will to marry the village woman. Salvador must therefore choose between marrying the woman he loves and dishonouring his grandmother's last wish, or marrying the village girl and abandoning the woman of his heart.
